How to Collect Phone Numbers in Campaigns
1. Create a New Campaign
2. Fill out the details as you wish from step 1 - 4
3. Edit the Appearance
In step 4, Appearance, open the campaign preview. Select Content and check the box labeled "Number field placeholder" to enable it. Finally, choose if you’d like this field to be required.
4. You're Done
With this feature enabled, new signup forms will automatically include a field for collecting phone numbers. The app will save these numbers to your Shopify Customer profile and, if Klaviyo integration is turned on, to your Klaviyo profile as well. You can then use this data to send SMS or WhatsApp messages to your advocates or referrals.
For Existing Campaigns
1. Go to Campaigns
2. Edit the campaign where you'd like to collect phone numbers.
3. Select Content, then check the box labeled "Number field placeholder" to enable this feature. Finally, decide if you'd like to make this field required.
4. Once enabled, all new signup forms will include an extra field to collect phone numbers. The app will store the mobile phone number in your Shopify Customer profile, and if Klaviyo integration is active, it will also be saved in your Klaviyo profile. This data can then be used to send SMS or WhatsApp messages to advocates or referrals.
Storing and Using Collected Data
Once enabled, phone numbers are securely stored in both the Shopify Customer Profile and Klaviyo Profile. With these integrations, you can:
