New feature release: Accentuate Reference Manager

Accentuate is excited to announce a brand-new feature that will make your work easier and faster: Reference Manager!

Our team has been working hard to create a solution that simplifies bulk editing for Shopify merchants, and we’re proud to share the result.

What is a Reference Manager?

Reference Manager is a powerful tool that allows you to bulk apply references to your existing metaobjects for multiple products at once. This means you can save time and effort by applying changes to a larger group of products without having to edit each one individually. Whether you’re handling a small selection of products or a large catalog, Reference Manager makes it easy to apply updates in just a few clicks.

This tool is perfect for merchants who want to keep their product information up-to-date quickly and efficiently, especially those who work with a large number of metaobjects.

How does it work?

The Accentuate team has designed the Reference Manager to be as simple as possible. Here’s a quick look at how you can use it:

  1. Select your products
    On the left side of the screen, you’ll find a list of your products. Simply select the ones you want to update. If you’re managing a large number of products, no worries - just use the existing filters to narrow down your selection quickly and easily.

  2. Edit your references
    Once you’ve chosen your products, move to the right side of the screen. Here, you can select the reference you want to update. You’ll see the Metaobject instances for the chosen reference. From there, you can edit the values and apply them to your selected products.

  3. Save your changes
    After making your changes, simply hit Save, and the updates will be applied to all the selected products instantly!

Note:
Please note that for large numbers of items and Metaobject entries, this operation might take some time. To ensure smooth processing, Accentuate sends this bulk operation to the Activity Log, where you can track the progress of the update in real time.
