MediaMarkt is where millions of Europeans begin their search for electronics—whether it’s a new laptop, smart doorbell, or washing machine.
But with thousands of options, technical specifications, and often similar-looking products, many shoppers felt overwhelmed. The outcome? Delayed purchases or trips to the store for in-person reassurance.

Coverage spanned 4 countries initially (Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria), quickly expanding to Poland, Spain, Italy, Turkey, and Switzerland

Localization was seamless - product finders could be duplicated across regions in native language and matching product assortments

With the foundation in place, MediaMarkt now focuses on two levers:

Exposure of product finders — Testing new placements (like on product detail pages), expanding into new categories, and even targeting B2B customers
Aiden supports this iterative process through monthly knowledge sessions Aiden Office Hours enabling local teams to analyze usage data and surface best practices.

Scaling Up with New Features
To help MediaMarkt get even more value from Aiden, our AI-powered guided selling solution, we’re working closely with their team to explore new use cases.
One example is integrating bundled product advice directly into product finders. By recommending product combinations based on customer needs, like a TV with a matching soundbar or a washer and dryer set, Aiden helps MediaMarkt boost average order value (AOV) while simplifying the shopping experience.
We're also testing a new feature on product detail pages (PDPs): product checks. While product finders guide discovery, product checks validate whether a specific item suits the customer’s needs. So if a shopper lands on a particular TV’s PDP, Aiden can confirm if it’s a good fit.
